Responsive design means that your image will scale and adjust its size based on the device and the resolution. The website layout is based on a responsive 12-column grid. You may choose among a few different column layouts when placing image chunks.

Unlike the other column layouts, a grid layout factors in the height of each row as well as the width of the column.
A grid allows for many rows to be added in a single section, and organizes them in either two or three columns with multiple rows. Consider using this layout for small buttons or panels with small amounts of information.
Note: In small windows or mobile platforms, the rows will become a single column and each chunk will stack vertically based on it's position in the row before displaying the next section.
