Text Chunk

In this section, you'll learn how to use the text chunk. As the name implies, use this chunk for simple text. It is the most frequently used chunk. It can have a header, but a header is not required. If you do include a header, you must include a header level. You'll use the WYSIWYG editor for formatting the text. Within the text chunk you may also utilize tools such as the email style to link email addresses and the CTA inline text button to call attention to important links like this:

Fields in a Text Chunk

Chunk Header

This field gives a label before your content. Headers are helpful for users to be able to quickly scan a page's content, and are great for search engine optimization.

Header Level

This gives your header a numbered heirarchy. Learn more about header levels.

Content

This is where the bulk of your text will go. It's a WYSIWYG editor field, which means it supports links, bullets, Call to Action buttons, and other styling.

Creating a New Text Chunk

Step 1: Scroll down to the Section category and click to expand it.

Step 2: Click to expand the Section >> Column category.

Step 3: Click the green [+] button to add a new chunk.

Step 4: Click to expand the new chunk category (Section >> Column >> Chunk).

Step 5: From the Type dropdown menu, select Text.

Step 6: Enter a Chunk Header and Header Level if necessary.

Step 7: Enter the text in the Content area.

Step 8: When you are finished, click Submit.

Step 9: Remember to publish the page for the updates to apply.
